schnitzel, schnitzel

Near my old workplace, there was a small cozy hotel and restaurant. When you enter the restaurant, you feel like you time-travelled back to the 50s. Very comfortable and probably all original furniture from that time.

The place was managed by an old lady (we called her “granny”) and the food was plain fare. The schnitzel was so tender, thin and crispy.

I miss the schnitzel sometimes and think about visiting it again during lunch but it is too far away. Near my current workplace is a restaurant which also offers schnitzel.

I tried their vegetarian schnitzel (turnip cabbage) and a normal schnitzel. Both were delicious (I liked the vegetarian schnitzel more), but granny’s schnitzel was the best.
