After coming back from my trip to Asia I miss good, authentic Chinese food. My friends told me about a Chinese restaurant which they said to be the best nearby. Of course, we went there for dinner.
We had 椒鹽排骨 salt-and-pepper spare ribs, 肉末炒茄子 spicy eggplant with ground pork, 麻婆豆腐 mapo tofu and 烧鸭 roasted duck.
The food was good and definitely more authentic than those Chinese buffet restaurants serving nothing but fried rice, 炒面 chow mein and 酸甜鸡 chicken sweet-and-sour. But it definitely couldn’t keep up with the food I had in Hong Kong. 😦
