It’s been a while since I met with my friend for lunch. Usually, we go to the Korean diner around the corner or another shop for salads. But this time, we went to my friend’s favorite Italian restaurant. It is very small and does not offer too many seats but the owner of the restaurant and her nephews (of course, Italian family business) are very hearty, so nice and funny. I have been there before a few years ago, my friend was celebrating her birthday there with anti-pasti and noodles with truffles. Very delicious!
For lunch, we shared a plate of mixed anti-pasti and a salad with swordfish.
It may not look like it was a big portion but both of us were very full and happy. Can’t wait for my friend’s birthday in July, she is celebrating it at the restaurant again. Yay!
