It’s been a while since I posted something. I have been busy working, travelling and most importantly: eating. 😂

Today’s breakfast is bibimmyun with homemade 깍두기 kimchi radish.

My plan for this winter is to gain enough fat and go into hibernation like a bear. 😂

パンケーキ Hotcakes is the Japanese version of pancakes. I don’t know if there is any significant difference between pancakes or hotcakes or griddles but I am sure they all taste good. 🙂

I often see pictures of those fluffy and delicious-looking hotcakes on instagram (yeah, I follow a looot of food-instagramers), so I decided I wanted to make them myself:

Compared to the pancakes I usually make, they seemed fluffier. I used the recipe by my favorite video food channel cooking with the dog:

1 cup cake flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg
3 tbsp sugar
70ml (soy) milk
2 tsp oil
½ tsp vanilla extract

Mis all ingredients well and then pan-fried them!

breakfast part 2

Last time I visited my sister, we went to a nearby café for breakfast. We visited this café a few times before in the afternoon for coffee. It is a nice, rather modern and stylish-ish café. Next door, they have an additional room with tables in case it is too full. But they do not have an additional counter or restrooms over there.

We had scrambled eggs with crabs and a breakfast menue with various jams, prosciutto and cheese.
